"A Pile of Ship"
PØST is proud to present new works by Los Angeles artist Randall Leifer in a show entitled, "A Pile of Ship." This show is part of the PØST "31 Kamakazi Shows in July" exhibition series at PØST exhibition space. Randall Leifer's show will be on view Thursday July 15th
for one night only, with an artist's reception that same night, 7-9 PM.
"A Pile of Ship" reveals Randall Leifer's love of the painted landscape and seascape. However, he presents the viewer with superimposed images over-and-within the land/seascapes, creating a dichotomy of "hidden disdain" and "beauty" for human's technological triumphs that often fail.
On view in this exhibition will be a fantastically large 13' x 21' hanging canvas that will dominate the exhibition space.
Randall Leifer was born, educated and lives in Los Angeles. He received his BFA('86) from Otis/Parsons Art Institute, and an MFA ('88) from Claremont Graduate University.
Gallery hours receptions are 7-9 PM. For further information please
